How do we transport the Kart Kit when it first arrives?

Getting the boxed kit from your delivery point into your build space is straightforward for most schools with a trolley or a couple of pairs of hands, given the size and weight involved. We’d always recommend two adults, ideally some site staff, who have had lifting-object training to carry the box into the location where you will then unpack it.
Will the built kart fit into a car or minibus?
Once built, most schools transport their kart using a teacher’s estate car, minibus, or small trailer… it has even been known to slide into the belly lockers of large coaches (plus ask the coach company ahead of time); exactly what works for you will depend on your vehicle and whether you remove the bodywork and wheels first. The kart only really becomes a large item to transport during the final build modules. Adding the bodywork and wheels significantly increase the kart’s overall footprint area. The good things is, these parts are very easily.

But, if you have access to this luxury, or perhaps a local business can sponsor you not with money, but with the loan of a small trailer. It can make loading and unloading easier.
