Day format
Upon arrival from 8.30am, you will be directed to park in the relevant area of the paddock. The Team Principal will then attend the Reception Area to sign in and complete the relevant documentation. They will also be given a Welcome Pack at this time with your pit bay number, important information, timings for the day, etc. The Team Principal will then return to the vehicle, and the rest of the team's personnel can then disembark and head to the team's pit bay with their equipment and kart.
During the morning, teams will be required to attend a Drivers Briefing to outline important safety information and general direction for the day. A number of STEM On Track staff teams will visit your pit bay to complete various processes, such as safety scrutineering, kart fuelling, engine start check etc, throughout the morning prior to racing commencing.
Whilst these processes are being completed, the circuit will be active with pre-scheduled track walk sessions and, on Race Day, a number of demonstration runs. The STEM Fair will also be open for teams to visit, take photos with static displays, and interact with various stalls, games and activities.
Teams will then compete in an endurance race, with drivers completing pit stops during the race so that each driver takes a turn. Following the completion of your race, the STEM On Track staff teams will complete fuel and oil draining, collection of the timing transponder, etc. You are then able to load your equipment back into your vehicle and depart, or stay at the circuit to attend the awards ceremonies etc.
