Do students get a certificate or qualification for completing STEM On Track?
Yes. The STEM On Track programme is CREST Level One certified, and students can receive a certificate confirming they've completed it.
We're also currently developing in-platform certificates that teachers will be able to award students as an end-of-year reward. These are coming soon.
What can students do after they finish STEM On Track?
There are several paths open to students once they complete the yearly programme:
- Mentor new students - many schools invite students to return the following year as mentors, team leaders, or managers for the next intake. This is a great addition to a CV or UCAS application.
- Progress into further education or apprenticeships - some students have gone on to achieve great things beyond the programme. For example, one student secured an apprenticeship and a college place at [Silverstone College] (flagged below).
- Reconnect with sponsors - if your school connected with sponsors during the programme, we'd always recommend reaching back out. Sponsors regularly welcome the chance to work with students again, whether through work experience or employment opportunities.
