What if I have a flat tyre?
If your kart gets a flat tyre, work through the steps below to find and fix it.
Find the leak
Inflate the tyre and spray it with soapy water, or submerge the wheel in water. Bubbles will show you exactly where the air is escaping from.
The leak will be coming from one of four places:
- The tyre
- The wheel rim
- The tyre valve
-
The bead, where the tyre and rim seal together around the edge
Fix it
Once you've identified the source:
- you can order replacement parts in section 26: Wheels and Tyres in the Club Shop
- contact Operations Manager Jake Coward at jake@espireeducation.co.uk for support
