Why am I being asked to accept the Terms of Engagement?
We're asking all Lead Teachers on the STEM On Track platform to review and accept our Terms of Engagement. Some schools haven't yet signed up to these, and in some cases we've updated the terms since your school first joined. Accepting them is a quick step, and it means everything is in order for your school's continued participation in the programme.
What are the Terms of Engagement?
The Terms of Engagement are the formal agreement between your school and Espire Education Group Ltd. They set out how the STEM On Track programme works, including the supply of the Kart Kit, access to the Learning Platform, events, data protection, safeguarding responsibilities, and what happens if either party needs to make changes.
How do I accept the Terms of Engagement?
You'll see a notification in the platform prompting you to review and accept the Terms of Engagement. Follow the on-screen steps to read through them and confirm your acceptance. The process should only take a few minutes.
If you have any trouble accessing the notification or completing the steps, get in touch with us and we'll help you through it.
What happens if I don't accept them?
To continue using the STEM On Track platform and taking part in the programme, your school's Terms of Engagement need to be in place. We'd encourage you to accept them as soon as you can so there's no disruption to your team's progress.
If you have any questions about the terms before accepting, feel free to get in touch.
I've already signed a previous version. Why do I need to accept again?
We periodically update our Terms of Engagement to reflect changes to the programme, the platform, or our legal and data protection obligations. Where we've made updates, we ask all schools to accept the new version so that everyone is working from the same, current agreement. Your previous acceptance covered the earlier version — this step brings your school up to date.
Who needs to accept the Terms of Engagement?
The Terms of Engagement are accepted on behalf of your school by the Lead Teacher — the named individual appointed to oversee the STEM On Track programme. If your Lead Teacher has changed since your school joined, please let us know so we can make sure the right person is set up on the platform.
